In 1994 on the River Ob, which winds through the Siberian taiga, the well-known Siberian entrepreneur Vladimir Megre met two elderly gentlemen who told him about the amazing properties of the Siberian cedar (also known in the West as the Siberian pine). Soon Vladimir began to discover bits of information and evidence supporting their words. He then organized an expedition up the Ob with his fleet of river steamers. Originally he thought the expedition was for commercial purposes only, but his intentions were to find the elderly gentlemen and learn the secrets of the cedar.

Once he had arrived in the exact same spot as the previous journey, Vladimir slipped away by himself where he had met the two elders. On the riverbank he found a woman waiting for him who turned out to be the elders’ granddaughter. This beautiful woman called herself Anastasia. With deep and profound knowledge and sincere love and her outlook on the world, Anastasia was to have a profound influence on Vladimir’s whole life.

After witnessing Anastasias psychic abilities Vladimir became a believer in her wisdom and message. When Anastasia told Vladimir he would write a book and that book would become a best seller and change people’s lives he was again skeptical, but a series of events led him to do just that.

Vladimir Megre is the ‘messenger’ for Anastasia’s ideas and visions. Although he is not an experienced writer he has certainly been effective at writing powerful texts and imparting Anastasia’s wisdom upon us.

Vladimir and Anastasia have two children together, little Vladimir (the oldest) and little Anastasia.

Later in book one she tells Vladimir that he will be the richest person on Earth and the most famous and that it will happen in the near future.
